This is a record for our family, and we are VERY proud to have three–yep, three–young adults starting college this month!! In order of age, congratulations to. . .
- My granddaughter, Whitney Fant, who’s attending Xavier University in New Orleans, LA. All her school life, Whitney has maintained a nearly “all-A” average! Her goal is to become a pediatric oncologist.
- My grand nephew, Derrick Anthony (“DJ”) Jones, Jr., who’s attending Marygrove College in Detroit, MI. Derrick received an athletic scholarship in track. He has really blossomed into a fine, positive young man! His goal is to become a broadcast journalist.
- My grand nephew, Henry Tyrone (“Ty”) Stewart. Ty is attending Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA. Ty has always shown a strong sense of responsibility and is also a fine, positive young man! His goal is to become the executive chef of his own five-star restaurant.
Our family looks forward to watching and helping to guide them on this journey!
