Note: I apologize for this late post, but I was in New Orleans for my granddaughter’s graduation from Xavier University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry. Next stop: Med School. She will become a pediatric oncologist! I just returned late last night. (Better late than never, huh?!)
“YOUR WORDS CAN BE LIKE ROSE PETALS OR RAZOR BLADES.” ~ Joyce Fields
(excerpted from “My Simple Quotes to Live By” – available at http://www.amazon.com [available on Kindle, too!] and http://www.GoodShortBooks.com)
We all make choices about the words that we’re going to use. It’s much better for our words to be like rose petals. Rose petals are soft and pleasant.
On the other hand, razor blades are hard, and they can cut–deeply.
Either way, we can get our point across.
Choose wisely.
